Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Mobile Pet Grooming Durham ("we," "our," or "us"). By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms.

Services we provide

We provide mobile pet grooming services for dogs and cats throughout Durham County, Research Triangle Park, Cary, and Chapel Hill, NC. Services include:

  • Mobile Cat Grooming
  • De-Shedding Treatment
  • Doodle & Poodle Grooming
  • Puppy's First Groom
  • Severe Matting & Nail Rescue
  • Skin & Allergy Relief Bath

Booking and quotes

We quote pricing based on information you provide about your pet (breed, weight, coat condition, age, behavior). The final price may differ from the initial quote if the actual coat condition, behavior, or scope at the appointment differs from what was described.

We will always communicate price changes BEFORE proceeding with additional work, not after. You can decline scope changes and we'll complete the originally scoped service.

Vaccination requirements

For dogs, we require current:

  • Rabies
  • DHPP / Distemper
  • Bordetella

For cats, we require current:

  • Rabies
  • FVRCP

You agree to provide proof of vaccinations before your first appointment. We may decline service if records are not available or if vaccinations are out of date.

Cancellation and rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules. Same-day cancellations may be charged a partial trip fee because the appointment slot generally cannot be re-filled.

Sick pets, genuine emergencies, or weather-related issues are exceptions — call us and we'll work it out.

Behavior and safety

We are fear-free certified and do not force grooming on pets that are actively distressed. If your pet panics or refuses, we may end the session early and re-book a desensitization-only visit, or recommend a vet sedation groom.

You agree to disclose any known bite history, aggression, or medical conditions that affect handling. Concealment of bite history may result in injury and is a basis for terminating service.

Satisfaction guarantee

If you're not satisfied with the groom, tell us within 48 hours. If we missed a spot, didn't cut to the agreed length, or rushed something, we'll come back and finish at no charge. This guarantee covers groomer execution, not changes of mind about the cut chosen at booking.

Liability

We carry professional liability insurance. We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing skin conditions, mats, or coat damage that becomes visible only after grooming.
  • Behavioral reactions that occur outside our presence.
  • Outcomes of grooming on pets whose vaccination, medical, or behavioral information was incomplete or inaccurate.

We are responsible for: damage caused by our negligence during the appointment. Any such claims should be reported in writing within 7 days of the appointment.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Returned payments may incur a $35 fee.

Service area

Our standard service area is Durham County, Research Triangle Park, Cary, and Chapel Hill. Pickups outside the standard area may include a mileage surcharge, quoted in advance.

Photographs and reviews

We may take before-and-after photos of your pet for our records and may share photos for marketing or social media unless you opt out at booking. We will not include identifying information about you or your home.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
